Savory Shallot Butter | Gigi Amanata Recipe

Shallots! Shallots! Shallots! Shallots! Shallots! Shallots! I love how shallots will give your dishes that extra kick of tasty deliciousness.
This infused butter recipe is amazing on so many of your favorite food items and can be a great base for sautéing and baking. I cook with it all the time!
Ingredients

2 Shallots
-
1 Stick Room Temperature Unsalted or Salted Organic Butter
Directions
Cut the shallots roots off and discard in trash
Peel the shallots outermost film (will have same consistency of an onion peel) and discard film
Finely chop your shallots very small and transfer to bowl
Place room temperature unsalted or salted butter into your storage container and whip until stick has disappeared. (I’ll be using a 4oz mason jar)
Mix finely chopped shallots into your butter and stir well to blend evenly.
Store your Savory Shallot Butter in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or freezer for up to a 30 days.
Recipe Note
You can grate your shallots finely if you are cooking with the kids and don’t want to use a knife to chop!
